BEFORE ANY PARENT GETS INVOLVED AS A MANAGER OR COACH OF A MINI OR YOUTH SOCCER TEAM, WE MAKE SURE THEY HAVE:

- COMPLETED a FA CRB/DBS CHECK and are cleared by Child Welfare Officer

- Booked themselves onto and FA Level 1 coaching course (which must be completed within 12 months)

- A registered, FA FIRST AID qualification

This process will mean that, once their Level 1 course is complete and within 12 months of starting with a side, all of our coaches and managers have the following:

- FA Level 1 Coaching Qualification

- In Date FA Safeguarding Certificate (comes with Level 1 Course)

- In Date First Aid Qualification (comes with Level 1 Course - unless undertaken beforehand)

- In Date CRB/DBS Check

The club foots the bill for all of this (50% up front, 50% after the coach has been with us for 12 months) and it forms part of our commitment to being a Chartered Standard club, ensuring safety and enjoyment for all of our players.
